RivrHub Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RivrHub ("RivrHub," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit rivrhub.com (the "Site"), contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, request a brand audit, apply for a job, or otherwise interact with us online. It also describes the choices and rights available to you.

RivrHub is a business-to-business e-commerce company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We process information primarily about business contacts, prospective partners, website visitors, and job applicants. Client data handled under a services agreement (for example, sales data in a client dashboard) is governed by that agreement and is not the subject of this Policy, except where noted.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and inquiry forms: name, email address, phone number, company name, website, role, and the content of your message.
• Brand audit and consultation requests: the above plus business details you choose to share, such as your brand's marketplace storefronts, product listings or ASINs, sales channels, and approximate sales volume.
• Newsletter and content subscriptions: email address, name, and your subscription preferences.
• Scheduling tools: name, email, phone, and meeting details when you book a call.
• Chat: the contents of conversations you have through our website chat.
• Job applications: name, contact details, resume or CV, work history, and any other information you include in an application submitted through our careers page or a linked applicant system.
• Events and trade shows: business card details and notes from conversations, if you share them with us.
• Text messaging: your mobile number and consent record if you opt in to receive texts from us.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers collect device and usage information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, scroll depth, form interactions, and session replay data (for example, mouse movements and clicks, with typed text masked). See Section 6 (Cookies) for details and choices.

Information from other sources

We may receive business contact information from partners, referrals, event organizers, marketplace data providers, data enrichment services, and publicly available sources such as company websites and professional networking profiles, and we may combine it with information we already hold in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• respond to inquiries, provide requested information, and prepare brand audits and proposals;
• schedule and conduct calls, meetings, and demos;
• send newsletters, guides, event invitations, and marketing communications, with the ability to opt out at any time;
• operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site, including analyzing how visitors use it;
• personalize content and measure the effectiveness of our marketing, including through advertising on third-party platforms;
• evaluate job applications and communicate with candidates;
• perform our obligations under, and enforce, our agreements and these terms;
• comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights, property, and safety and those of others; and
• for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.

We may de-identify or aggregate information and use it for any lawful purpose.

3. Service providers and tools we use

We use third-party service providers to operate the Site and our business. Depending on how you interact with us, your information may be processed by providers in categories such as:

• website hosting and forms (for example, Webflow);
• newsletter and email delivery (for example, Beehiiv);
• customer relationship management (for example, Pipedrive);
• website chat (for example, Drift);
• analytics and tag management (for example, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager);
• session replay and heat mapping (for example, Microsoft Clarity);
• video hosting (for example, Vimeo or YouTube);
• scheduling and meeting tools;
• applicant tracking and HR systems for job applications;
• advertising platforms used for measurement and retargeting (for example, Google, Meta, and LinkedIn); and
• payment, e-signature, cloud storage, and business productivity tools.

These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us, except that analytics and advertising providers may process data under their own privacy policies as described in Section 6.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We share personal information only:

• with service providers described in Section 3;
• with advertising and analytics partners through cookies and pixels, which may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some U.S. state laws. You can opt out as described in Section 6 and Section 9;
• with professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers;
• for legal reasons, including to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our terms; and to protect the rights, property, or safety of RivrHub, our clients, or others;
• in a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction; and
• with your consent or at your direction.

5. Email marketing

If you subscribe to our newsletter or otherwise agree to receive marketing email, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message or by emailing info@rivrhub.com. We will still send transactional or relationship messages, such as replies to your inquiry or notices about an agreement.

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use:

• Strictly necessary cookies for the Site to function and stay secure.
• Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the Site (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). Google Analytics data may be used by Google under its policies; you can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Clarity captures how you interact with pages and masks sensitive text by default.
• Functional cookies for chat, video, and scheduling features.
• Advertising cookies and pixels (for example, Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn) that help us measure campaigns and show relevant RivrHub ads on other sites. These providers may use your data across sites under their own policies.

Your choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; blocking necessary cookies may affect Site functionality. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and in your device's advertising settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser. We do not otherwise respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

7. Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from RivrHub, you consent to receive informational and, where you have agreed, marketing text messages at that number. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party, except with providers that deliver messages on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality.

8. Data retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Business contact records in our CRM are retained while there is an ongoing or reasonably anticipated relationship. Job applicant information is retained for up to two years after the hiring decision unless a longer period is required by law.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and a company password manager. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet.

9. Your privacy rights

United States state privacy laws. Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we collect, use, and share, and access a copy;
• correct inaccurate personal information;
• delete personal information, subject to exceptions;
• receive your information in a portable format;
• opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling; and
• not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

To exercise these rights, email info@rivrhub.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or call 877-903-3069. We will verify your request using the information you provide and information we already hold, and we may ask for additional details. You may use an authorized agent; we may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

California residents. In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 (identifiers, commercial information, internet or network activity, professional or employment-related information, and inferences drawn from the foregoing) for the purposes in Section 2, and shared them with the categories of recipients in Sections 3 and 4. We do not sell personal information for money, but our use of advertising cookies may be "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising; you may opt out as described in Section 6 or by emailing us. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. California's "Shine the Light" law permits you to request information about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not make such disclosures.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. If you are located in these regions, our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract or steps at your request, our legitimate interests in operating and marketing our business, your consent where required (for example, for non-essential cookies and marketing), and compliance with legal obligations. You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Personal information is transferred to and processed in the United States; where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.

10. Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party sites

The Site links to and embeds third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are their own; review their policies before providing information.

12. International visitors

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and, if the changes are material, provide additional notice such as an email or a notice on the Site.
